History Test on Monday
Questions for history test:
1. A bully tells you that he or she is going to take away your lunch money every day until the end of the school year simply because he or she “doesn’t like you.”
Briefly explain how you would deal with this situation using the five common reactions to conflict.
2. Give your own definition of war. Explain whether you think there are any situations in which war is acceptable or productive in society. Justify your answer.
3. a) Draw a Venn diagram to show the similarities and the differences between revolution and rebellion..
b) Explain what people are typically trying to accomplish through rebellion and/or revolution.
4. a) Very briefly describe the steps of conflict resolution.
b) Explain what the role of a mediator is in this process.
5. What is the purpose of the UN peace keeping missions and give two CURRENT examples.
